The Port Royal Club welcomes and encourages owners of all eligible Port Royal properties to join the Club. Members enjoy the Port Royal Club's Private Beach, Dining areas, Pool, Spa, Fitness, and Tennis facilities.

Within 90 days of purchasing a Port Royal Club Resident Membership eligible property, new owners may choose from the following options:

1. Become a full Member.
2. Choose not to join the Club; however, retain the property's immediate Resident eligibility status for up to four years by placing a deposit equal to 25% of the current initiation fee and paying 25% of the current annual dues on a yearly basis.
3. Elect neither of the above which will suspend the Membership eligibility status of the property. This option carries a reinstatement fee equal to 75% of the current initiation fee.

Located on the south end of Naples, Port Royal is one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in the United States offering stunning, custom-built homes and the ultimate in luxury waterfront living.

Port Royal was founded by retired advertising executive John Glen Sample in 1938. His ambition was to make Port Royal the finest place in the world to live. Sample purchased two square miles of land and deemed it Port Royal. His fascination with pirate lore and a visit to Jamaica inspired the developments name. In 1950, Cutlass Cove is the first phase of Port Royal, complete with lots selling for $7500 - $12,000. In 1951, groundbreaking began of the Trinity by the Cove Episcopal Church built in Port Royal on land donated by John Glen Sample. In 1957, the final phase of the original development of Port Royal is finished boasting a total of 600 lots.

Fast forward to today, the exclusive Port Royal membership is limited to only owners in Port Royal. The beautiful relaxed Bahamian feel club is located directly on the beach with full-service dining, pool and beach chairs. The active tennis facility and state of the art fitness center and spa complete the Port Royal Club.
